Dirty file indicator does not clear after save

Wappler Version : 7.0.0
Operating System : mac intel
Server Model:
Database Type:
Hosting Type:

Expected behavior

The dirty file indicator should be cleared upon file save

Actual behavior

Sometimes it does not clear

How to reproduce

Note in the video that after saving, the indicator remains however the file is able to be closed, without prompted for save.

I'm getting exactly the same on Win 11

Ditto

I am too on Mac M1.

Does this still happen in the latest release?

@patrick I can confirm this is still happening on 7.1.1

For me it does update all the time, what kind of file do you have open in the editor and when does it not update?

.ejs files are affected, almost all of them. I'll pay more attention to my work today and try and see if there's a particular instance that's causing it.

Looks like its happening when I try to save (Ctrl+S) after inserting an App Connect Binding. I hit Ctrl+S and nothing happens, no save and dirty file indicator is blue. Moving cursor into any other area then clicking Ctrl+S again saves it and the dirty file indicator disappears as normal.

Where and how are you adding it?

In the Text Data Bindings panel:

Ok, i was able to recreate this, but this is a totally different issue than the one reported here initially.

I'm putting my 2 cents in worth here. And I'm not sure if its related? But you know how if you are editing text, but you can't save it until you take it out of focus and then you can save (if that makes sense). It seems like that happens a lot to me. I can't save it until I focus on something else, and it's not just text. So I end up having to hit save a lot more times than I ever did before. I've been too busy trying to get two projects launched that I don't have time to make error reports. But this might kind of be related? So I thought I would throw it out there...
