Hi,
We're launching a local instance of our service in Australia. To do so requires access to DigitalOcean Sydney to create our app servers.
There's no option in the target list - how do I create Wappler instances - is there a workaround ? Or can I edit some Wappler config file and add it ?
Thanks for any help
Hi scalaris,
You can create a new instance for Sydney location on the Digital Ocean portal and then either add DO as a provider plus import the new instance in the Resources Manager or import the new instance if DO has already been added.
Thanks @guptast
I've already got DO servers running in DigitalOcean lon1 and I can see them in Wappler.
I've just manually added a new droplet in syd1 via the DO portal. I can't see it in Wappler yet - where should I go next ?
"add DO as a provider plus import the new instance in the Resources Manager"
How/Where do I do this?
" import the new instance if DO has already been added."
Or this?
thank you
No problems at all, scalaris.
To add a cloud provider and a new server, go to Resources Manager -> right-click on the Cloud Providers
and select Add New Provider
.
This will open a new pop-up window where you can select DO as one of the cloud providers. This will ask you for the DO API and SSH keys. Click Connect
.
Once DO has been added, you will see an option to Import Existing Server
.
Yes indeed you can import existing servers or when create new server in the resource manager just choose the Sydney 1 region (scroll down for it)
Thanks. Unfortunately I don't have anything listed under cloud providers. (using v.6.8.0)
Hi @scalaris
You need to click the + (Add provider) in the Resource Manager, then you could choose the provider of your preference
