Design Panel Colour Type

I noticed that the colour picker in the new design panel selects colours based on hex value but inserts the colour as RGB values in the code. Is this by design?

We are using rgb format because of the transparency.

I agree with using RGB … I just think it should match what is in the selector?

Brad, HEX values are translates to RGB(A) and the color is the same. What bothers you exactly?

Just a consistancy thing. When selecting a value based on hex value I expected to be able to go into the code and adjust it to the hex value I needed as selecting an exact value in the colour picker is impossible. I was just suprised it wasn’t consistant with what was selected.
