Default target

I’ve been using wappler for years and always published my stuff to “production” target.

I’ve decided to try a development target to use before I publish to production so I’m a bit confused how I set my normal flow so while I’m testing the files show up on my internall iis php development target.

I’m assuning I get everyting working good then publish to production.

I strongly recommend you to use git or make some backup first, so you don't have to worry at all..

When you switch targets you can expect some changes about the config of your project.

For example, you can define a database for the production and another one for the development:

Also env values will change, you can define them on the server config option where you have the API (Server Connect) panel..

Again, make some backup and you'll be fine

Can you explain what exactly do you mean about this?

I’m not sure I’m ready to learn the whole “git” thing! LOL
I just really want to able to test them internally here before I publish them for use live. I’ve worked through the database thing and I think I understand that. I just never had the ability to preview and troubleshoot befor i broke the live site
