I have a few projects where buttons that were set to default but located in forms are now acting as submit buttons. This is a new behaviour as they would not historically do this unless specifically set to type="submit"
It has cocked up a few of my projects and am wondering if it is a bug or an intended change?
I’m having to go through and manually add type="button" in code view to fix them.
This has been a problem a couple of updates ago, but has already been fixed. Maybe you have some old files left in the project in the dmxAppConnect folder.
It’s happened and continues to happen on several projects, including ones that have been redeployed multiple times.
I think I had a dmxAppConnect.js patch file from Patrick which hasn’t been updated. Can I just delete it - will Wappler add it again?
Yes, you can delete dmxAppConnect.js and it will be recreated on page save.
So deleting the file resolved it but it only recreated the file when I removed the app connect framework from a page and re-added it again, not just a file save.

I thought I was going crazy. Glad to see others having this issue as well.
It has caused me a lot of problems in my data integrity.
