Colors of icons in server actions suddenly changed

I think I’m going crazy…

The icons are suddenly changed? I didn’t update or anything (on Wappler 5.8.2). I tried all the themes to see if that changed - but that doesn’t help.

They’re nw for example white for ‘set value’

But when I check a recent screenshot, it shows orange:

What is going on??

Happened in Wappler stable, before I updated to latest Wappler beta (beta 12, I was on beta 4 or 6)

Reinstallation of Wappler stable fixes the problem (thanks @ karh)

That’s very annoying.
Seems like a minor issue but it’s quite tough on the brain to suddenly have everything color coded differently.

Running Wappler beta causes the issue on Wappler stable

Steps to reproduce:

1. Run Wappler stable
2. Run Wappler beta (without closing stable)
3. Nothing will happen, because Wappler stable is already open
4. Click Restart Wappler in Wappler’s tray icon
5. Colors of icons in server actions are changed

You should never run Wappler beta and Wappler stable side by side. You should always close first the running one fully from the tray icon and then start the other one.

Worse yet, I found what triggers this

Just a simple “Restart Wappler” in the tray icon causes this, always using Stable

I think it’s caused by the extension updates:

The issue only happens after clicking that and restarting

I’ve never used the beta. I don’t know how I triggered it in my OP.
There’s a chance I used the restart button in the tray as Apple says.

The icons colors are indeed bound to the extensions and we changed those a while ago.

So this is not a bug but a design choice

Still seems to be a bug?
Because the colours are changing. What is it supposed to be, white or orange?
