Code editor needs to save files twice - Bug Report from aschoijett #2020-10-20_15-33-40

OS info

  • Operating System : Windows 10.0.18363
  • Wappler Version : 3.4.0

Problem description

This is a minor issue but I noticed that the now the editor requires to Ctl-S twice if the indentation structure of the file was changed.

The way I understand, the editor repositions code to indent it properly. When that is done, one needs to save the file twice.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Edit any page
  2. Change the indentation of any piece of code in that page
  3. Save the file

Your will notice that the tab has the blue circle indicator after having saved the file. If you save again, the file is now “saved”.

Hope this helps,

Alex

This has already been reported and will be fixed in this week’s update.
For now you can fix it by disabling code formatting on save in Wappler general options.

Thank you Teodor. Sorry I did not see the other bug report. Anyway, it’s just a minor issue for me, so no worth working around it until you guys fix it. I’ll just hit Ctl-S twice

Alex

This was solved in Wappler 3.4.1

Thank you!
