Cannot reliably switch between different files in Wappler 5

  • Operating System : Mac OSX 21.4.0
  • Wappler Version : 5.2.2

Since the Wappler 5 update, I have not been able to switch between files using Wappler’s UI. Here is a very basic set of repro steps as an example (but it applies to any file type):

  1. I open up index.html
  2. I open up styles.css
  3. I click on the index.html tab on the top of the Wappler UI to return to that file
  4. The index.html tab is now highlighted as if it has been selected, but I am still seeing the code or preview for the styles.css file.
    The only way of resolving this is by closing the index.html file and opening it again through the files menu on the left of the UI.

I’ve had this issue since the Wappler 5 update and figured it would be fixed so I stuck with Wappler 4.9 for a while. Decided to try Wappler 5 again today and still having issues with this so am reporting.

Please restart Wappler with logging, reproduce the problem and attach the debug log. See:

Hi, I don’t seem to be able to reproduce this issue since updating to Wappler 5.2.4. But if it happens again I’ll follow the suggested bug reporting method - thanks
