Cannot discard all uncommitted changes in git

Expected behavior

If I click to Discard all changes, then all changes should be discard

Actual behavior

All of these changes remained AFTER discarding all changes:

Looking at the "changes" there appear to be done (so possibly white space mods?)

However if I discard in Github desktop, they are properly discarded.

This is still happening. ls there any fix for this? in my case it's even listing changes from a different project and I can't delete them from my current project
