Can Wappler send text messages or SMSs to a phone?

Hi This is a general question. Can Wappler send a text message to a phone?
I know it can even if I need to call a free SMS web site outside of wappler.

So really my question is, what is the best way to do this? I cannot find any tutorials or 'How To Do’s on this, so folk would have invented their own way. Any suggestions?

Hello,

No Wappler cannot send an SMS to a phone.

You can however use the API Connector integrated in Wappler to connect to any external API and do this.

We have used https://www.clickatell.com/ for our notifications eg WhatsApp and SMS…
It was easy to integrate with the API Connector via Wappler as @Teodor explained.

  1. Create the API connector

  2. Fill in all the details as needed — that you got from clickatell…
