Can the AI Feature Understand My Existing UI Structure?

So I have one app.

It was designed in Wappler 6 years ago so has a bit of an odd front end code structure and uses random CSS classes here and there.

Can I say to the AI agent:

See this bit of my app split over these multiple PHP ssi files? Add a menu option to the left side of the screen that says this and then when you click on it it should show a whole form using the same type of code structure as the other forms within sections over on the right side of the screen so it has the same look and feel as the other sections and forms you can already see there.

Or will the AI only create front end code in a very “latest Wappler way to do it” kinda way?

I’m not sure whether to invest time in working with the new AI features or not!

Generally speaking, outside Wappler, the answer is yes.

(By outside Wappler I mean using e.g. Copilot agent mode in Visual Studio Code)

Inside Wappler you just have to try (or wait for someone from the team to confirm), and if you get mad you can try Visual Studio Code :wink:
