BS4 Modal and date picker broken from third party code

Hello,

I’ve inherited a BS4 project from a person gone from my team, where she was using a third-party template - the whole thing is a little messy and with unexpected behaviors that I cannot reproduce from a clean wappler page, so I know for sure some css/scripts are interfering somewhere.

Once of the concerns is a date picker that works fine on the page, but not on a modal, displaying two calendar tables and not picking up any data:

Is there an easy way to see where this behavior comes from? I tried using the inspector but I don’t see anything obvious.

Thanks!

I got this sorted, I’m not sure if it’s a bug actually:
<input id="eta" name="eta" is="dmx-date-picker" class="form-control" type="date">

The type=“date” was conflicting with is=“dmx-date-picker”. I can see why that person picked the option down from:

I don’t think it’s really a bug because when you convert an input to datepicker in the Wappler UI, it will automatically change it to type="text"

Are you saying you did this through the UI or are you adjusting the code of an existing element in Code View?

Hi Ben,
that’s a fair point.
I found this by adjusting the element in code view directly, and then I tried to make an educated guess on how the previous person added the type attributed. She wouldn’t be a coder (not that I am by any stretch either), so I’m pretty sure she did that from the UI.
