Blockchain/Web3 Development Support

Hello @George, I don’t want to make assumptions about where you and your team have or are planning to focus future product releases, however, I did want to mention that I’ve been following blockchain development for about six years and recently I’ve come to appreciate what NEAR protocol is providing developers in the “Web 3.0” space in terms of toolsets and generational support to onboard “Web 2.0” developers.

NEAR Protocol https://near.org/ has released a JavaScript SDK, Bringing Web3 to 20 Million Developers. https://www.pagoda.co/jssdk

I also know that NEAR Protocol has a pretty impressive grants ecosystem offering multiple funding options to support initiatives aimed at decentralizing, growing, and innovating on NEAR. Wappler.io as a toolkit with this capability would no doubt be a killer combination.

I can just imagine for a moment the potential of 20 million “Web 2.0” JS developers utilizing Wappler.io as their tool for this development.

Have you or the team considered anything like this?

Thanks for taking the time to read.

fyi You’re about to open 2nd can of worms

I’ve been following Wappler development for 9 months, and came to the conclusion they don’t have enough manpower to venture in such territories. There are lots of pending feature requests and bug fixes, I just don’t see it happening in the near future

@Apple yes, that’s one of the reasons I kind of hinted at the grant opportunities as I would think if NEAR knew what Wappler could do now they would easily be awarded a grant to bring on devs to build this into the platform

My intention was certainly not to open another can of worms hah!
