This is very helpful Ken!
I see much more info in the log file now/
Could you do me a favor and open the .git subfolder within your project and take a screenshot.
As the error says:
Error: attempt to get status of nonexistent file '.git/FETCH_HEAD'
So I wonder if this file is there - and if all permissions are fine to read it.
R/W on this file. Keep in mind, this is all brand new in 2.5.1…never any sign of this in 2.5.0 or earlier.
I’m also 99% certain it happens in other projects.
I also just received the same Aw Snap when changing to a different branch.

Does the crash occurs only on git repositories that have a remote? And is the remote github with https url only?
Could you try a brand new just local repository?
Just created a new repository using Wappler, on a project that had no .git and was able to create the Ah Snap error.

So the creation of the git local repository went all fine - but just on the first commit you got the crash?
Could you also run that with debug logging and attach that log as well?
No, the git local creation went fine (I did NOT add a remote) and the first few commits were fine after having made a few changes. I think it was the fourth attempt that caused the crash.
Will do logging now…

this log seems exact the same as the one for the mobile content page… are you sure you got the right one?
Not sure at all!

This should be now fixed in Wappler 2.5.2
