I have xampp, I would like to give access for external users but I want to avoid to give the IP address. I have a domain poiting to that IP but always show the IP when you hit the URL. There a way to keep showing the URL name instead my WAN ip?

Do you really have setup the DNS A record for that domain or did you perhaps only setup a redirect to your IP address. Normally when the DNS is setup correctly it should not show the IP address in the URL, users can still get your IP address be doing a DNS lookup of your domain.
No, I just redirect to the IP address. Do you have information of how I have to setup the DNS record correctly.

Most providers that sell domains offer a control panel where you can edit the DNS records for that domain, you should check with your provider how to do that.
