Perhaps I missed this in the patch notes…
I just launched Wappler, and it is showing me that there are updates available for app connect:
I’ve last used wappler only 16 hours ago, and it’s the exact same project.
Are you guys updating components more frequently and it’s pulling these updates from a cdn? Or is my ‘Project Assets Updater’ bugging?
No, not yet.
The updates come with the updates of Wappler. So probably you did not choose to update them the last time you opened wappler?
Hmm I think I did - but for some reason when I started Wappler it launched Docker and started the wrong docker container (a different wappler project, which probably has many updates to be had).
Or another possible explanation: does tthis Project Assets Updater show up on EVERY Wappler start? Or is it possible that I DIDN’T update last time, and it didn’t show up for a few restarts?
One more thing: it doesn’t actually seem to be newer versions.
For example the DMXzone swiper, both same build and version date. No changes:
I have seen a similar issue like this too with every time I launch a project the updates screen shows an update.
If I click update the updates screen closes and the blue notice appears but never goes away.
If I click close (and don’t update) I still have the indicator saying I have updates which if I click doesn’t show any.
It works when there is a Wappler update but not in-between.
Do either of you use any cloud sync services like Dropbox, OneDrive or GoogleDrive which syncs the project folder? Maybe that’s the cause?
Well we recently fixed an issue that now all App Connect component updates were detected, so you might get more initially. But once up to date only new ones will come.
