I’m a UK citizen and am utterly appalled by this. It kind of like the UK government saying you’re not allowed locks on your house in case we need to look for a criminal in your house

Not an apple user but am aware that Apple have, in the past, refused access to everyone, even the FBI. I cannot believe they caved so easily on this.
I don't think they've caved, I think it's a ploy to make the UK gov realise they need to back down. And I hope they will.
