Apple PowerBook M1 and Wappler

I currently use Wappler with a 21.5 (1920 × 1080) iMac, but having to replace it due to obselescence and also for management reasons I will have the intention to buy a Powerbook M1.
I state that already a doubt is whether a PowerBook Air is enough or a PoerBook Pro is needed
The problem I ask myself is above all whether using Wappler with a 13.3-inch monitor is still easy or if it is definitely problematic.
Has anyone tried such a solution before?

It’s not desirable to work on a small 13.3" display esp of you’re going to spen a lot of time on wappler. Occasional use is fine.

I have a MacBook Air with M1 and it works perfectly fine. It has no fan and Wappler runs better (on Rosetta) than on my previous MacBook Pro with 15,4“.
If you need more space you can always plug it in a external monitor.
For a bigger screen on the MacBook Pro with M1 or newer you will have to wait a couple of month. The actual MacBook Pro M1 has also a screen with 13,3“. Bigger screens are only available for the Intel MacBook Pro (16“).
What about the new iMac with 24“ M1, in case you need an all in one solution?

And in a couple of months you will have the 14” and 16” MacBooks Pro based on the next M2.

I think the 16” one will be perfect!

Of course I know that it is penalizing to change from iMac 21.5 " to PowerBook 13.3", but unfortunately it is my need to be able to move more easily using only one PC
However, I don’t know if there is so much difference between 13.3 “and 16” to justify a much more demanding cost
However, I think I’ll wait for 16 "before deciding

It's probably partly what you're used to and your eyesight etc. but I would hate the thought of using Wappler with such a small monitor. I would definitely use a larger, external monitor.

Particularly due to Wappler's UI, I think there are many advantages in having a large monitor. I use it on a 43" monitor and use it full screen. It's probably the only application I use full screen on this monitor.

I use Windows most of the time, but I have also have an M1 Mac mini connected to another monitor. I'm very pleased with and it seems very good value. I might even start using Wappler on that. Perhaps this would be an option, unless of course the portability is critical. (I don't get out much.)

I am used to using Wappler on Monitor 21.5 and I am happy with it, both in full screen and in window
Now I have a need for mobility and carrying an iMac 21.5 with me is problematic and uncomfortable, and with the risk of breakage
I would like to try to use Wappler on 13.3 monitor or 16.0 monitor, to understand how much I am penalized.
Who knows if there is a possibility to simulate the use of Wappler on a 13.3 monitor in an iMac window?

Hi George
my daughter has a 13 "PowerBook Pro from a few years ago
Can I momentarily install Wappler to check how it is used on this monitor, or do I have problems with my installation on the iMac?

Here is a screenshot of Wappler on the M1 Air
