Anyone Using Windows Server for Production with V7 beta

Wappler General Need Help

Hi All,
just a quick request to see if there's anyone out ther using Windows server for production and Wappler V7 beta?

I'm having FTP issues and would like to see what your experiences are, any info would be much appriciated.

Tom, there should be no difference between previous versions of Wappler and the current V7 Beta, the mechanics have not changed.

You probably have already seen the Wappler Docs on this, but for completeness, here it is

Edit: As a matter of interest, have you tried a different FTP client like Filezilla? This could help to find the solution.

Thanks for that Ben, it all works perfectly in Wappler 6.8 so its definitely a V7 issue. I can also FTP using regular FTP clients.

Am I the only one running Windows server here..? There must be someone out there using it.

I will fire up a virtual windows server instance and give it a a try and let you know.

Hate to say it but having no issues on the instance of Windows server i just created. Have you any FTP or Wappler debug logs i could look at (PM if necessary for security)

I do all kinds of windows server stuff. Still have some asp classic going and of course a lot of .net.

Hi @TMR I am using Windows Server 2019 for production.

I also had issues with FTPS connections with Wappler v7 and used local folders over a Mapped network drive as a workaround.

My Wapler V6.8.0 has no issues with FTPS connections.

I didn't spend too much time trying to debug it.

Thats very handy to know @raymantle , if you get a spare minute would you mind mentioning you had issues in the open bug report I started? It would help the team know its just not an issue on one box:

I'll try to get to it later today. Please note that this was an early build of v7, so I haven't checked if the issue is still present on the latest build.
