Anyone integrated with DeepSeek, how fast is it?

HI All

Just putting the finishing touches to adding DeepSeek to "Wappler all in one AI".

Easy enough integration, deepseek-chat fully functional, just tweaking deepseek-reasoner.

However it appears incredibly slow when compared to ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini.

Not sure if that is them or my wifi connection in a Cambodian Hotel?

Anyone any experience of response speed from it?

Personally, I wouldn't use DeepSeek unless it's the open source version hosted on my machine. I did install a few of the distilled versions of R1, but even my 64GB and 3080TI isn't enough for the largest model.

Yes, wouldnt be my first choice either, more a challenge to be met. :grin:
