Bit out of the ordinary but any Revolut card users within the Community?
Just signed up for a personal and a business card with them. Was too easy so makes me nervous… Obviously there are fees, I don’t mind them for the ease of use, but any thoughts?
I used to be one of their early users - I was very happy with them. Not using it nowadays due to some weird stuff they added as they grew (e.g.: require selfie to login)
Been using revolut for 3 years already Mainly for paying in bars/restaurants, splitting bills, sending money for beers to friends we are drinking with.
Also using a virtual revolut card with Google Pay on my phone. They also offer disposable virtual cards for one-time online usage.
No issues so far.
Just a quick update, got my card, very happy. I know it sounds like a paid endorsement but if you have issues with banking (my UK cards were repeatedly ‘absorbed’ by overseas cash points) I highly recommend applying for one. Got the wife one too!
And they recently have finished the implementation of their bank after applying for an EU banking license. Now you can migrate your account to their bank and get your deposit protected under the EU banking regulations.
I guess they will start adding more features in line with what you would expect from a bank. For good and for bad I guess. Time will tell.
