I opened a project that is over 6 years old and the last time I worked on it and closed it, this is what I found this morning:
Do you happen to have a backup?
I was going to say that this has been reported already but then seen it was you.
Can't say I've seen this. I have a project that was developed back when Wappler was on early release for backers and it still opens fine.
Does the name show up in your project selector? Is it just the properties that is empty?
Also, looks like you are using an older version of Wappler?
Good day Apple.
Yes, the site is backed-up on GitHub.
Yes, it's 5.8.2
I pulled it up after syncing it with GitHub so I could upgrade it to 6.8.2 or 7. This popped up after the upload to GitHub three days ago.
I noticed the Project Settings was blank this morning. It's been odd since. I cannot edit the Project Settings to what I have saved in my notes. So after all that, I decided to send it out and see if anyone in group could throw out some clues.
Project properties are stored in .wappler/project.json
Check what happened with the file and feel free to restore a previous version of it.
Hi,
I'm unsure if you figured out where to find that file?
Oh I found it. I just need to reenter the saved data from a year ago. I trust I can get this completed before the end of the week. Ha!
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to help enlighten me. I would appreciate any recommendations or shortcuts to victory.
However, I’ve not been able to totally restore the project settings for gmdata.org. The Project Settings are blank.
I have a backup on GitHub, I’ll have to look as see if I can find:
{
"projectName": "blaxstud-gm-data",
"targets": [
{
"access": "ftp",
"name": "blaxstud-gm-data",
"remoteURL": "https://gmdata.org/“,
I guess all I need to do is just restore the whole json file. Is that possible? I tried it once, however it didn't work. Is there some special way to save system ".hidden-files"?
