Any info on how to create an entry popup page?

Hi, I want large pop up to appear before the user enters the site. Can someone point me to some info on this? I can’t seem to find anything. Thanks.

I think the lightbox might do…
I’ll check it out but if anyone has any other methods or links for pop ups, please let me know. Cheers.
