Android SDK does not get installed on a Mac

Did your ran the SDK Manager from Android Studio to install the needed SDKs?

In the Android Studio options there is also an option where the SDK should be installed

Usually it is in ~/Library/Android/sdk

Could you verify that and see if this folder exists? You can do a Go to Folder in the Finder and enter that as path

Yes SDK manager was used in Android studio to install the SDKā€™s
The android sdk location is;

c:\users****\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk

However on my laptop which it does work ok the folder is named ā€¦\Android\Sdk

Cheers

Ah sorry you are on Windows - was thinking youā€™re on a Mac.

Normally the location is:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk

And that is what we are looking forā€¦

not sure how your SDK ended up see:

it should be fine if you can move them, make sure you also change the Android Studio options with the goo location.

Ohk thanks, for some reason it installed with that location. I will try changing it.

Hi, I am on W10. (not Mac)

and the same message displayed: Android SDK not found.

I closed Wappler and opened Android Studio,
Now its sort of downloading the SDKā€¦but seems to last foreverā€¦more than 40mins since it started.
Is that right ?

is there a ā€œquickerā€ way to download and install it ?
tks

Ah welcome to the Android world  so much versions to choose from.

If you narrow them down just the version you want to use it will be less download.

But it is a lot any wayā€¦

Ok, I dont remember having specified one or more versions while opening studioā€¦
I just escaped the SDK process and can see the Version 7 is now installed and Wappler opens with no more warningsā€¦
Will test to see if thats ok like this.

Hi, I m trying to Cancel the previous ā€œMobile Appā€ project I had started before completing Android Studio install and Create a bran new oneā€¦I cant see how to do both : Cancel/remove ā€¦then Create a new project.
Wappler takes me directly to the previous ā€œMobile appā€ projectā€¦
anyway I can do that ?
