Amount format number prevents display

I am trying to format a number using this expression:

.formatNumber(2, '.', ',')

But after I save my data won’t display anymore, someone know what i’m doing wrong?

Try adding a format toNumber before formatNumber.

Is the variable already a number? You may need to also have .toNumber() in there.

That was it! I did change to the type then add the formatting, I guess I needed to save once after the initial type change
