Airtable Alternatives?

Hey gang... I'm looking to build a highly customised sales and marketing database using Airtable...

But would love any thoughts on pros/cons/alternatives before I make my final decision!

Hello @Antony . What planned data volume and data entry is more manually or automated?

I would recommend for use, this is the best in terms of the development of database structure and data input like excel.

Comments:

  • Each document is a separate SQLite database.
  • The latest versions support the external storage facilities of Attachment Files, earlier all the data was stored inside the SQLite.
  • The interface for working with webhook is still weak.

Hi @Antony

Depends on what it’s used for. If you’re building this for a company to use internally, or for commercial use, then I’d stay clear of air table and any similar spreadsheet apps.

They are not databases and in these use cases don’t scale well. You’d be better off with a SQL, noSQL or similar actual db. Or even consider a hosted db like Superbase which has an API that you can use.

Hope that helps

Thanks for your input @BiBo @hs-rene , much appreciated.

I’m going to have a play with Airtable for a few days and see how I get on…

Why not NocoDB?
