The one thing I miss most about Dreamweaver from the old days was ability to add query string parameter values for testing. I've found plenty of landscape where we could put it....

As long as it can be hidden if App Connect is not enabled. I never work with App Connect turned on and would have no use for this and it would just clutter up the UI with something that would have no use without App Connect enabled in design view.
I voted for it because I can see it being useful for those that work with App Connect enabled. It's a good idea. I just don't want it cluttering the UI if it isn't of use. 
Also would that even work with dynamic routing parameters?
it would work for any query string that you would have there. It would function just like the browser query string does.
