Accidently deleted the Assets folder from the Asset Manager, how to bring it back?

I wanted to upload an image, dropped in the wrong place (I thought) and hit “X” to delete, confirmed, and realized I deleted the Assets folder from the Asset Manager:

Thought I can easy create it via the Finder or Files Panel:

…but no luck, the Asset panel stays empty. Relaunching Wappler didn’t help.

Any ideas?

(the “+” button on the Asset Panel doesnt work, I assume because there’s no root item)

Create a new assets folder in the /public folder of your project and just make sure to select again in the project settings:

It will then reappear in the assets manager

Aaaah. I added the /asset folder at the wrong place, it has to be in the /public folder.

Just ignore my blurb.

Just found it at the same time

Thanks for the quick reply!

Out of interest: the first time, the image appeared immediatly in the panel, with the second time now, the image seems to be in the filesystem, but not in the panel?

I find it is normal to have to essentially F5 often and it doesn’t seem to indicate a problem. To do this use refresh icon (chasing circle icon)

Do the files show if you use the refresh icon in the panel? If not, try the Restart Wappler command in the menu bar near your clock.
