7.2.0 pretty broken?

Been away for a bit and just fired up Wappler again for a new project. Thought id' update to the latest stable build which I think is supposed to be 7.2.0, but it's almost unusable for me. :frowning:

Not sure if it's just me? Not sure if I should downgrade or if that's even possible?

The project is not public so I can't post any pictures, but any front end work is more or less a no-go using the UI. The browser seems completely broken, it doesn't render the page correctly at all, like no CSS gets applied (works fine in an actual browser though). Or it gets applied sometimes and then randomly just goes away until I restart wappler.

It seems the only way to add elements to a page in 7.2 is clicking the + buttons on the page now. The old way is broken, it just says "no elements are available for the current selection" until I click one of the arrows again, then they all show up but clicking on an element does nothing.

When I reach the bottom of the page the + button to "add after" renders the button outside the work area I guess? at least it doesn't show up so only to add a new element is in code view, which I've just completely defaulted to now for any front end work, unfortunately.

Lots of things seems to be missing? I can't find a way to refresh the app structure (not the dom, the other one at the bottom of the properties panel). It used to have a refresh button at the top which I relied heavily on because Wappler never reliably updated the ID naming there.

oh and the local server shuts down every few minutes. I never used to have that issue (what I think Mr English used to call "naughty wappler")

Like I said, I can't post any picture of this unfortunately, but happy to send a private DM or something? Not sure if there is a way to file private bug tickets on the non enterprise plan?

is this just me and my luck, or this is it, it's this broken currently?

Edit: I'm hoping I'm just doing something wrong on my end haha I frikkin' love wappler and seeing this really made me super sad.

This probably isn't broken, but this is very strange no? it says properties down here, but that panel isn't properties? It would seem the panel above it is the actual properties panel?

Not sure how you managed to get that. This is what mine looks like:

You can set the layout etc using options as in

Do you see that app structure panel double? That has been reported and already fixed..

Oh perfect! thank you both so much. I'll dig into those threads and see if there's anything I can tweak on my end as well.

Helps a lot knowing some of it is already reported and not just me, and that some/most of it is not intentional.

Besides those bugs, new functions are amazing.
I'm sure you'll sort it out, the team has made an excellent job with v7

Thank you again!

Oh I was super excited, I've been seeing all the release emails and been pouring over the new features and eyeing the new look, so couldn't wait to fire it up again. And then seeing so much broken was a real gut punch.

But this is great! Working my way through the suggestions here and in the other threads and a number of things, for example the panel issues, I've already been able to get working.

Edit: And I got the refresh element list function back now too!! amazing stuff!
