6.0.0 Beta 3 not saving changes to SC Actions (intermittent)

Expected behaviour

What do you think should happen?

Changes to Server Connect Actions should be saved. New Server Actions should maintain their functionality.

Actual behaviour

Changes are not being saved and occasionally the full contents of the Action are cleared/reset to blank.

How to reproduce

  • This is intermittent so very hard to pin down.
  • Create or modify a SC Action, save it.
  • Do something not related to Wappler like watch YouTube or use another application.
  • Go back to Wappler and look at your SC Action.

This is intermittent but DEFINITELY an issue with 6.0.0 Beta 3 and not imagination. Several times this has happened to us recently. We’ll create new SC Action or edit existing Actions, we’ll take focus away from Wappler by opening a browser window to do something else, or use another application, and when we go back to Wappler the SC Action is either blank or any changes made to it are lost! The only thing we can report is that Wappler is not in focus and during this period the above occurs. Its very frustrating. We do not use any file syncing applications like Drop Box or One Drive just to clear that up.

The Actions that are affected are open in Wappler at the time this occurs. We have lost a good few hours after some very complex Actions were wiped clean out. This is what prompted me to write this report. The last one to go was a very complicated Stripe Action which we know we saved! Its automatic to CNTRL S all the things! Muscle memory sends our eyes to the bottom right for the saved confirmation dialogue to appear before we look away.
