If you use indeed a lot of data bindings, you will see much faster rendering while the browser also uses less cpu.
Other will be the big difference. Other than that we try to make it fully backwards compatible so that no additional changes are required.
Hope that @patrick soon has a working version available so you can all just start testing by simply replacing dmxAppConnect.js
Our team has learned numerous optimizations and work-arounds over the past few years - to get around AppConnectâs potential issues. But with the last update, we have been more confident with the dynamic bindings on client side.
This would be the third big performance upgrade to AppConnect since I have been using Wappler - and I think this time we can just stop thinking about any performance issues going forward.
One page specifically that comes to mind is a messaging/chat interface page, where last update helped a lot. With this new information, I think its about to get another huge performance boost.
