My Wappler crashed and now trying to re-open it does nothing at all. Doesn't even get the pre-loader graphics. I have tried re-installing within h no luck. On a Mac Intel system.
I wish I had a screenshot of the error when it crashed.
But now I can't open Wappler at all. Any ideas or help?
Hi Brad,
Just check the Activity Monitor, Wappler app may still be running in the background. Highlight and Stop it inside the Activity Monitor if that's the case.
Make sure you right click this and choose quit wappler. it might not be closing and I always forget about that….
I've seen in Sentry that you probably have a corrupted projects.json file.
It should be located in ~/Library/Application Support/Wappler/Configuration/projects.json. Try to fix the json or delete the file, when you delete the file you need to re-add the projects in Wappler.
Thanks Patrick. I ended up doing a full install and now I am back up and running. Jusy have to remember now what all my projects were to get them all set up again. 
You could simply pass your corrupted projects.json to chatgpt for a fix. Then you can copy and replace the newly created one. This will put your projects back in Wappler.
Yeah, that would have been easier. But I panicked and did a full uninstall and re-install. It has been a few years since I had to do a full install so it was probably time to do a bit of clean up anyways. It's all good. Love Wappler.
