Target database

Hi everyone, forgive me if I repeat this request but this aspect of the deployment is still not very clear to me.
I set the connection to the development SQL database in the global properties.
In my targets I have configured the production environment that deploys to a local folder.
I would also like to set the connection string to the production database, can I simply enter the data in the DATABASE section?

So do I need to add a new connection in the Global section?

No, a single connection is used but its credentials are automatically switched per target.

If you select database per target the connection is automatically created called “db” and automatically switched when you switch targets.
