Project name already exist on Linux - double installations

OS info

  • Operating System : Linux Mint 18
  • Wappler Version : 2.0.0-beta.3

Problem description

Cannot create a new project. “Project Name already in use”

Steps to reproduce

  1. I have moved to Linux Mint version 18, and have multiple copies of Wappler installed on three different computers. My original Windows 7 laptop, A new dual-boot Linux laptop, and a Linux desktop.
  2. Now on the dual-boot Linux laptop I am unable to create any projects. These are only test projects to help me configure my LAMP environment on Unix.

Is this happening on Linux only?

Are you sure you don’t have a project with the same name already?

Try also to restart Wappler.

If problem persist, please make a short movie to show it.

Thank you George.

I recently lost my dual-boot laptop where I had two installations

of Wappler. so I am now only have a single instance of Wappler
running, exclusively on Linux Mint.

This seems to have eliminated my problem. I am now able to

create my new projects.

This issue appears to be resolved.

Kind Regards,

Pete D.
