@Cheese
I have windows, Mac and Linux systems but I use a diverse collection of software and only Windows really fits the bill. Also as i am a qualified Microsoft Profesional (MP MCS MCTS) I would feel guilty
I like Linux for servers but not as a desktop solution
Its not guilt its shame!
Windows 70% market share, Linux less than 3. It’s a business decision as much as anything. As more and more of the windows core moves to Linux the boundaries are blurring.
But I acknowledge, it’s cool to knock windows users but I am not that cool
Don’t discount Android in that market share evaluation!
I’ve always gone back and fourth until Windows 11 showed its ugly head, then made the decision to migrate away from Windows permanently. I’m not knocking Windows though. Just as a platform for development purposes it lacks a lot unless you are a Creative Cloud power user that is. Like everything it has its place.
Sorry am taking away from the original topic Brian. Will let you get back on track!
Android can never be discounted, nice to see the ability to run android apps is slowly being integrated into Windows, another great benefit of the Windows Linux subsystem integration.
I do concede that Linux would be next choice over OSX though. Haven’t turned on my Mac for 18 months! Keep it in case I need to do some mac based videos mainly.
Nice to have some banter to lighten the bug depression.
