New install of 4.01 doesn't run

Just installed 4.01 yesterday. First time user. Windows Pro 10.0.19042 build 19042 x64. Won’t launch today. When I try to run the exe nothing happens. When I rerun the installer it says it’s already installed and asks if I want to uninstall.

Hello,
Can you try running Wappler as explained here?

Thanks for getting back to me. This is what I get when I tried to alter the target: screen1

Seems you’ve enterered something wrongly there. Please double check the explanation above and try again.

Does it look wrong in the screen shot? The directions seem pretty simple to me.

You don’t have a space between .exe and your first parameter.

Argh. Still get the same message. I notice that there are double quotes around the target path. Could that be an issue? I’ve tried it inside and outside of the quote marks.

The parameters should be after the quotes.

It took that time (end quote, space, parameters. But it still won’t launch. Just get a quick spin icon then nothing. Dang.

What is your configuration and video card?
Are your video drivers up to date?

Windows seems to believe they are up to date. Here is my video info.

NVIDIA Quadro K600

Maybe try going to Nvidia site and download/install the latest drivers from there.

Okay.

Updated to most current drivers. Restarted machine. Noticed on restart that the Wappler emblem with things flying around it came up for a bit. But she don’t launch.

The odd thing is it ran fine all day yesterday. I wonder if I should uninstall and reinstall?

After pc restart Wappler automatically starts minimized in a tray.

So you can open it from there or quit it there first if you want to start it with special options to disable the GPU first

Thanks George. I uninstalled then restarted then reinstalled and it is working now. Even quit out and got back in. I will try the tray the next time if I have issues.
