Big fan of freestyle battles. Got in to UK Drill despite being an old fogey these days. Huge vinylphile. Mostly Hip-Hop (love UK Rap too), Detroit and Chicago House, most dance genres including any up to around 94, aside from Happy Hardcore. Love Roots and Dub Reggae, Sound Clash and Dancehall... There is my serious answer hahaha... I'm quite happy with most music aside from vocoded (then auto-tuned on top) modern utter shite...
Sometimes Jon. Quite privileged to get a lot of underground cyphers from UK through people have worked with and associated with in the past. Used to organise and attend a lot of events in the UK when we had the Graffiti Gallery (came with the culture).
Nor did my friend or his cousin. Didn't like seeing it in their favorite club so stepped in to tell the man to lay off. The big guy didn't take kindly to it and knocked my friends cousin out. Actually there is more. My friend said when he came around after his slap he was giving it the big one to the doorman outside (all know my friend)... They sort of rescued him from the situation. He was shouting at them to let him back in so he could have a go back. He said to me he didn't know what was coming out of his mouth at the time and the last thing he wanted was to go back in to the club for another round! So much for ego and bravado eh! True story though!
Random Pink Floyd tracks are my chosen motivational/ energizing music, particularly Dark Side of the Moon onwards (nearly Syd Barrat stuff was a bit questionable)
