In the middle of an interesting discussion with MiniMax and it threw this at me which I thought quite worthy of sharing...
The logical order for a product spec is: what it does → what it produces → how it's built → visual design → build plan.
Helped me think about some things as more often than not I do tend to jump to the end, then to the middle, then the begining, back to the end, to the middle....
