Well these are only styling options.
Custom select just looks differently than the normal bs4 select …
@UKRiggers can you provide a link to your page where you manually added the values in the UI and it’s not working?
Hi @Teodor I know you have been asking for a link but I had to just try again on my own. I did as you did “new db table, new server action, new page and tested again with the new data” and managed to get it to work 
I think that just proves I must have been doing something wrong and I apologise for taking up your time. Rather than take up any more of your time (and mine) I will simply revisit the problem areas and recreate them from scratch.
