I'm getting weird behaivor on code view... Spaces or Tabs confusing my selections

Hey guys,

I just got my from service (new motherbord/cpu etc..).

So, I installed 6.8.0 on my pc and I created a project from my git repo.

I can't really work until I understand what causing this behavior...
On code view, when I click on my code the element's "start" and "end" is changing and a weird rectacle is appearing there...

When I click somewhere and delete or start righting, I end up deleting or writing on the wrong place

*this happens only in wappler while on code view

Anybody have any idea?

Congratulations!

Open with Visual Studio Code and figure if it's a tab or some other weird "invisible" character.

Then check the "text type" (I don't know the right technical name), it should be like this the UTF-8 part:

I don't know if this matters but:

  1. I was working on the same project (from git...) without problem

  2. The only thing changed is that now I have win.11 (instead of win.10 I had at my laptop)

No VS code... I checked with my notepad editor...

This may sound dumb... Nothing new there hahaha.

Check out scaling in your display settings and set it to not scale anything. I'm sure my wife had a similar issue where scaling was enabled.

It was on the Settings / Accessibility / Text cursor / Size
Size should be on 1.

Wouldn't have thought about it. It affected only wappler code view.

I truly detest Windows. Not just for the purpose of hating on Microsoft (owe half my career to them), but the reality is it is a stinking pile of s**t, and that was my opinion before Windows 11... My thoughts on it now are not fit for airing within this fine Community.
