How Can I Auto Insert An Image into Summernote Content

Hey Wapplers…

My users have the ability to store images in an S3 bucket and then select and copy the url, all in a modal based interface. They then need to paste this url in the Insert Image window in Summernote to get the image in the text they are editing.

I would like to cut out that second step… so give them a function in the modal which just automatically inserts the correct image html into the Summernote content area at the place where their cursor was last placed.

How would I achieve that?
