Having two projects open at same time - how

I thought there was a way in wappler to view two projects at the same time in separate windows on separate screens so you could copy code from one project to other. I CANNOT find anything in documentation that seems to be relevant. I know I can open any file under fILE/oPEN but that’s not what I’m wanting… Help plse. Something simple I ‘m missing?

Hi @briar,
Simply click on the tray icon for Wappler and select 'New Project Window' or if you have opened the Project previously it should be displayed within this dialogue.

That’s the problem. I CANNOT find the tray icon for Wappler that people talk about. I DO have a wappler icon on my WIn 11 task bar but it opens my existing project. Right clicking does NOT bring up; the New Project window option!! (Tried numerous times!) Is there a special tray icon for Wappler itself that neds to be activated?

Are looking here? (I grabbed the image from the Internet)

I am in Windows 11 looking in my hidden icons - (under the upward pointing chevron). There is no wappler icone there

Open 1 copy of wappler and the icon will appear. It normally is activated on windows startup.

Hi HYperbytes. I have opened one copy of Wappler. No icon appearing in Windows Task bar or hidden icons. I restarted Windows. No icon. (I checked the start up menu in Task Manager - it is enabled. Any more ideas?? It's
a great feature/

When Wappler is running its icon appears in the Windows taskbar, next to the clock. If it's not visible, click the little arrow to show the hidden icons, as it can be there:

The reason why I couldn’t see the icon was that it was totally invisible! On my computer it’s black on black. On your machine Teodor it’s white on black and visible. At least I now know it”s there. I only discovered it by running my cursor along the length of the task bar and suddenly there was a popup saying Wappler 7.5 was available. Can I change it to white from black?

This depends on your OS theme selection. What theme have you set in windows settings - light?dark?

Gotcha!!! Thank you. Had me stumped!!

I ‘m continuing to learn and enjoy wappler
