Ahh yes, Im sorry, I meant to type b8 - changes made in b9 cuase this issue.
Guess we are at the stage of any idea is worth discussion
Having looked at the logs for successful 6.8 and failed 7 beta logs i note that with 6.8, the "SITE" command is issued and produces an error but this is not catastrophic and FTP continues.
Could this be a catastrophic error with the new FTP system?
Well, looks like this bug has been fixed in the next update, many many thanks to everyone concerned, and especially Team WAPPLER for sorting it out - can't wait to get the new AI asisstant running

It should be all fixed in the just released Wappler 7 beta 22 now

Thanks for the update George, this hs not resolved the issue. Tried a fresh log in on a rebooted local machine and a rebooted remote server, issue persists.
Still showing this error:
` 550 The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

I've PMd you a temp FTP log in for the site in question so you can see it from your end. If you create a connection on Wappler V7b8 it'll work, if you try Wappler V7b22 it will fail.

Well it was a longshot but we restored specially for you the ftp functionality on windows as it was before beta 8…
So there must be something else.
Again with us on windows we never experienced the issue.
Will try also with your server and credentials you send me.
