sorry for the delay, last week before school break , so a bit busy.
when using SMTP with Office365 the only way i got it to work was using the following:
tls://smtp.office365.com
Port:587
and i had to use authentication:
username & password.

Hope this helps aaaaa lot of people using office 365
after making the email working i still was not happy with the results as office sometimes blicked the emails… so i found a better way of doing this.
1- make sure you have a smtp relay server in windows iis, and a connector in office 365
2 - in office 365, go to admin - settings - domains - click on your domain
then make a note (copy) the MX record
(something.com.mail.protection.outlook.com)
this will be use as your smtp server.
use port 25 (make sure you do have it open)
and you dont need any authentication.
simples now this email works like a treat.
