Did you put any step in Globals that might interfere?

I did have something in globals from a previous tutorial I was trying to accomplish. I took it out!
Now it’s an empty response.

You can put whatever was in Globals back in
Click the JWT Decode step, and click Output Action Step:
Edit: Alternatively make a Set Value with the expression the JWT Decode step name, with Output checkbox ticked

This throws a 500. Let me try the set value.
