I think what I would prefer is an escape hatch route. I.e Run custom PHP / ASP / ASP.net Code. Just have that implemented as a safe function. That would open up the ability to use platform specific features on wappler as wel as run services that could run on the server like ffmpeg or something like that. Granted implementing this securely could be an issue.
