Reporting errors with debug log

  • Operating System : Windows 10.0.18362
  • Wappler Version : 1.9.9

Problem description

Wappler crashes. And “Submit error report…” only creates zipped screenshot, not the debug file. I checked in Local\Wappler\User Data no new chrome_debug is created.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Fresh start Wappler (no instance of it was running in the background, no tray icon)
  2. Open the About Window by clicking Help > About
  3. Click on the About Window
  4. Wappler crashes

You do have to restart Wappler with logging to make that happen, as stated in:

Sorry I forgot to do that since Wappler completely crashed and disappeared from the tray. Had to reopen Wappler, then restarted again with Logging.
