Irony is Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were great friends which is why Apple got their no strings attached $150 million bail out in 1997 when they were going bankrupt.
I donât hate my Mac, itâs not a bad machine, i just donât see any advantage over my current setup, certainly not to spend a lot more money to change over.

It was for Dave's comment about Wozniak. Any decent engineer knows that Woz was the bright mind behind Apple. Jobs was the visionary and salesman. Critical for any business of course, but he just wasn't the engineer.
It's all about the ecosystem. If your ecosystem is not Apple you will hardly understand the advantages of this tight integration. But being tied to Apple means you have to be prepared to be slightly scammed.
On the other side Microsoft made a pretty decent OS with W10. But I will ONLY accept W10 as decent OS. I will bash any of Gates/Ballmer products to death.
I think it is time to call a halt, we are all friends and I donât want anything to escalate. What started as a bit of friendly banter with Scott (thatâs what we do) is in danger of getting out of context.
Everyone to their own, if Gates and Jobs could be friends why should we argue

OK, another serious question, none of my webcams will work with my mac, macam does not work with Catalina, Any suggestions which donât involve huge financial outlay, preferably how to get my existing HP webcam to work with Catalina
Got it working with facetime, OBS, for which i need it for streaming however crashes when it is selected - back to the drawing board
Edit: Set new permissions via terminal, now works!
